Trauma Therapy

Healing is possible—and it doesn't have to hurt the way you're afraid it will.

You don't have to relive it to heal from it. And you don't have to do this alone.

Maybe your body still reacts before your mind catches up.

Your body signals danger when no threat is present. You walk into a room and start scanning— exits, faces, tone of voice—before you've even decided to. You're tired of being "fine" in public and exhausted in private.

Or maybe it's quieter than that. A numbness. A sense that you're watching your own life from a few feet away. Places you don't go. People you keep at arm's length. Conversations you steer away from without quite knowing why.

Whatever you're carrying—named or unnamed, recent or old—it makes sense that your system learned to protect you this way. It also makes sense that you're ready for something gentler than white-knuckling through it.

What this work is—and what it isn't

A lot of people arrive scared that trauma therapy means being thrown into the deep end. Here's the honest version.

It is

  • Work that starts with safety, tools, and trust—not diving into the deep end.
  • Making sense of how the past still shows up in your body, relationships, and daily life.
  • Moving at a pace your nervous system can actually handle.

It isn't

  • Reliving everything until you break.
  • Being pushed faster than you can handle.
  • A demand that you retell every painful detail before you're ready.

How we move—slowly, on purpose

My style is casual and conversational. We're co-pilots. Structure when it helps, fluidity when you need room to breathe.

  1. 1

    We build safety first

Grounding tools. A sense of steadiness in the room with me. Resources you can reach for when your body spikes. Nothing gets processed until there's somewhere solid to stand.

  2. 2

    You set the pace—always

Consent isn't a form you sign once. It's every session. If something feels like too much, we stop, slow down, or change course. Your nervous system gets a vote.

  3. 3

Then we work with what's stuck

When you're ready, we gently untangle the memories, beliefs, and body responses that keep pulling you back. The goal isn't to dig for pain. It's to loosen the grip so you can live here, now—not back there.

You don't have to face it all at once

A free intro call is just a conversation—about where you are, what you're hoping for, and whether we feel like a fit. No pressure to dive in.
