Individual Therapy

"The purpose of psychotherapy is to set people free"
- Rollo May

Psychotherapy, or counseling, is a setting where you can be fully honest about yourself, your struggles and the big questions of life without fear of judgement, consequence or embarrassment  This freedom allows us to to more fully investigate those things that bother us and  prevent us from from truly experiencing all that life has to offer us.

This can take many forms: depression, anxiety, self-doubt, lingering traumas from our past, uncertainties about the present.   The purpose of therapy is to sort through these challenges and  develop ways of more successfully navigating them so that we are able to more fully experience and enjoy life the way that we wish to.  Sometimes people think that seeking therapy is a sign of weakness, but quite the opposite.  It is a sign of strength that you would be willing to address those difficult things that can be painful, scary and challenging to sort through.  That takes courage and determination.
